venturing from maryland, usa to suwon, south korea to teach english for a year, here is a photo chronicle of what happens from the vantage point of my Kodak camera
In some alley.
Kristin asked me to take this photograph.
There are things to smile about in Korea.
" A rose is a rose is a rose."
Ceiling of an entrance way at Suwon's Hwaseong Fortress.
A pig's nose in a shop window, down a narrow alley near Suwon Station. In Korea, it is almost always clear that the animal you are eating or about to eat was in fact an animal.
A rare sight in Korea: some graffiti near Suwon Station(Yeok).
Here are some high rises in our neighborhood that are still being worked on. Most people in Suwon are apartment dwellers. I have yet to see free standing homes or town houses of any sort in our area.
JOSH IS HERE AND SMILING! Now there are 5 of us from the Western Maryland contingent teaching at Kim and Lee. We're kind of taking over the hagwan as there are only 10 total foreign teachers.
