A view from our flight to Tokyo. We slept a lot, ate well and sat next to a sweet young woman from Taiwan named Marta. I had forgotten how wide a 747 was (10 seats with 2 aisles).
Here is some toilet paper at the Tokyo airport bathroom. It was the first time I had used a floor toilet.
Here we are (jetlag confusion and culture shock in full effect) at our first Korean meal with Anthony, Teresa and Nella. Eldin took the picture. Nella and Eldin are a very warm and kind couple from Bosnia. It is good and comforting to be in the company of friends old and new. It really has been easing the transition. We ate dok-galbi or bbq-chicken with vegetables, had beer and soju and sweated quite alot. It was delicious!
